Capturing Authenticity: Susan Paczkowski's Personal Branding Photo Shoot Unveiled!

In personal branding, being true to yourself is what truly matters. It's not just about showing off your work self; it's about sharing the real you. Meet Susan Paczkowski, a go-getter in her industry, who decided to dive into a personal branding adventure.

We started with a phone conversation where Susan told me about her work journey and where she is heading now with her public speaking coaching business. We discussed what kind photos she needed, locations and outfits. I then created a Pinterest board to make sure we were visually on the same page and shared it with Susan for her feedback.

From our phone call I knew Susan has a very warm, bubbly personality and great uplifting energy, I really wanted to capture that!

We started in my studio with hair and makeup and of course lots of chatting about work and life. We then shot a few outfits in on plain backgrounds in the studio, it’s important to have those great simple clean profile shots included in your shoot.

Our location was at the Tram sheds in Glebe and the huge park that surrounds it.

I believe we created photos that's are genuine and authentic just like Susan.

A Conversation with Susan: On blossoming Speakers and Embracing Authenticity

I had the opportunity to sit down with Susan and chat about her journey in her business, her passion for her work, and the challenges she faces.

How did you get into coaching speakers?

I believe your public speaking skills are meant

to evolve to best reflect you, your services and help build a connection with your audience so you can strengthen rapport and create a lasting impact that converts.

I have been learning, developing and practicing in the public speaking space for over 30 years.

I won awards, led change, trained others to success in an area of their work, successful in sales, projects and customer service all greatly due to my ongoing investment in public speaking. This all forms my 'why' I got into coaching and what I love most about my work.

I love sharing what I have learned and experienced with others to help them achieve their dreams and thrive.

What do you love most about your job?

My last role I was training a diverse range of people and I really celebrated when they reached their learning goal. I get this joy from supporting and guiding people to engagingly speak with others as themselves so they can achieve their career and life goals as they use these skills to connect and build rapport.

What are the biggest challenges

when you are coaching someone

for public speaking?

I care a lot about them achieving their public speaking goal when they work with me. To help me move through this challenge, I remember it is their journey, decision and action. I am their guide and I am grateful to be part of their journey in the area of public speaking. I can give the resources and training, listen to feedback, be their head cheerleader and sounding board but the work is all up to them.

How has having a photo shoot with Simona helped you in your business?

The result of the photoshoot helps people new to Blossoming Speaker and my work get to know me.  Feeling comfortable and myself was critical for the photoshoot experience because I know that translates on camera. I enjoyed my experience with Simona and I felt comfortable throughout. She made it easy for me to push through my nerves of being in a photoshoot.
